RE the "Zack was ready to leave the Lifestream and fight Sephiroth" post (Where is Zack in ACC?) vorpalgirl had said the following on Tumblr:

You know that "Zack was literally offering to step out of the Lifestream & help Cloud" theory of yours? Yea that theory has STUCK IN MY HEAD & I've been recalling the CotL novella & how Aerith didn't want to make her own remnants bc it "wouldn't really be her" meeting Cloud, & imagining what it would have been like if Zack had actually had to do it AND HE KNEW HE WAS A REMNANT like half of him was left in the LS & he knew it but was stuck as half of himself & curse you I have yet another plunny

Sign me up, I’d read that like crazy. Heck, I already wrote the one little three-parter based off of it so obvious support here. I’m a happy, happy enabler and will hand out plunnies like candy.

Here’s another fun thought for you: Remnants are based off memories, and part of that person, right? Let’s look at Sephiroth’s.

Kadaj:

• appearance: short, slim and compact, short and stylishly messy hair
• personality: spitfire, possessive, quick tempered, emotional, sassy, passionate
• notes: ringleader, center of attention, jealous of Sephiroth

Loz:

• appearance: bulkier than Sephiroth by far, short hair, long sideburns, very squared face and thick brows
• personality: goes along with Kadaj despite any misgivings, much more emotionally sensitive, playful, not neurotypical
• notes: family oriented, perceived as childish

Yazoo:

• appearance: most like Sephiroth, long hair, willowy build and similarly ‘pretty’ - tends to look bored until you really poke his emotions
• personality: appears passive, willing to follow orders; has very few people/things he appears concerned with, but can become emotional when they’re attacked in some way, not very talkative
• notes: has several of Sephiroth’s tics in CC, including the “hn” all three SHM have, fluidly graceful, appears to enjoy action

Now, I do know what canon says. And take this as you will. BUT consider:



I’m just saying, I don’t think Sephiroth forgot EVERYTHING.
