Character: Lily Hart

Appearance:
Lily stands at 5′5, though even her work boots have an inch heel on them. Fair skinned with vibrant green eyes, she keeps her brown hair back in a variety of low maintenance styles when she’s working with the younger Pokémon but likes to let it free to fall down to her mid back when she has the opportunity. Most often you would find her in a smock and shorts in neutral blues, but she likes pastels when she’s not worried about getting them dirty.
Personality:
Lily has a generally sweet disposition, and makes an effort to be as kind and helpful as she can. While she’s confident in her job, however, she often spreads herself too thin because she has trouble saying no when she believes someone is in need.
Backstory:
Joseph and Amelia Hart are best known for running Johto’s Daycare Center outside Goldenrod City, two of the most famous breeders in the region. Their son Ronald, having grown up around their close friends who happened to be gym leaders, ended up taking the Johto League Challenge, obtaining several gym badges before settling down to start a family with his wife in Mahogany Town where he serves in rotation as one of the trainers in the gym.
Just prior to the events of the HG/SS, they have had a daughter who stays with her grandparents every summer. Oblivious to most of the drama going on, she wanted nothing more than to become a Pokémon breeder herself. She was quick to enroll in a suitable academy just as soon as she was old enough, and on graduation went on to become Professor Elm’s assistant.

When all her friends were preparing to take on the Pokémon Gym Challenge, or day dreaming about competitions, Lily wanted to become a breeder like her grandparents. As soon as she was old enough, she enrolled in the appropriate classes, and on graduation ended up apprenticed to Professor Elm. She can currently be found living in New Bark Town, working with the professor to uncover more of the science behind breeding.
